The ease of meditation

Just rest in the Self-Enjoyment Samadhi of all the Buddhas, wandering playfully in the four practices of peace and bliss of those open to Openness. This is the profound and inconceivable practice of Buddhas and Awakened Ancestors.

From “Zazen Yojinki: Notes on What To Be Aware of in Zazen” by Keizan Jokin (from The Art of Just Sitting, Wisdom Publications, 2004)

About Kestrel Slocombe

I like writing, meditation, art, reading, riding horses, playing guitar, watching trees in the wind, ferns, the smell of woodsmoke, Mozart and Bach, long walks in the wilderness, and the sound of the cello.
